English Version:
Fireworks over a Sea of Sand
The Geminid meteor shower originates from the asteroid 3200 Phaethon. Every winter, when Earth passes through the trail of dust it has left behind, dense meteors ignite like fireworks, blooming one after another across the night sky—a fleeting moment of romance gifted to humanity by the universe.
To capture the composition of the Geminid meteor shower alongside the winter Milky Way arch, I waited two years. In 2023, during my first attempt to photograph the Geminids, inadequate planning led me to miss this scene. This time, however, with thorough preparation and patient waiting, I finally realized this dream, freezing the Geminid meteor shower and the winter Milky Way arch within the same frame—a cosmic year-end feast belonging to 2025.

A total of 25 shots, each 60 seconds, stitched together. Meteors were captured across the entire sky area, aligned using PTGui with over 400 meteors initially tracked, later curated.
