The image was taken shortly before dawn on 14/10/2025 when the comet was passing through the constellation Ursa Major, shining at a magnitude of approximately 6.6 and located about 100,330,000 km from our planet.
The comet will make its closest approach to Earth on Tuesday 21 October 2025 at a distance of 89,185,647 km.
