The heart of the Rosetta Nebula NGC 2237
is a large rosette-shaped region in the constellation Unicorn.
Within the nebula, a region where new stars are born, is an open cluster of bright young stars, NGC 2244. The ultraviolet light from the cluster of hot stars makes the surrounding cloud glow. The Rosetta Nebula extends about 100 light years and is 5,000 light years away.
